Harvest Festival fun at Bowhill House
20th September, 2017
Bowhill’s popular Harvest Festival is set to return with a host of family activities on Sunday 24 September.
Visitors can enjoy chainsaw carving demonstrations, face painting, children’s crafts and harvest themed games as well as explore the grounds of the Estate by trailer on a Bowhill farm tour.
Brand new for this year, the festival also includes the Bowhill Bake Off. The competition has two categories, under 12s and over 12s, and will be judged by staff at Bowhill.
Helen Currie, House and Events Manager at Bowhill House, said: “We are very excited to introduce the Bowhill Bake Off to our Harvest Festival celebrations this year.
“Anyone who would like to enter can bring along their baking masterpieces on the day. We’re very much looking forward to crowning our winners.”
The Harvest Festival takes place between 11am and 4pm on 24 September. Admission is included in the Estate entry fee of £4.50 per adult and £3.50 for concessions, with under-threes going free. Family tickets for two adults and two children are available for £14.00. The Bowhill farm tour is £2.50 per person.
