Celebrate the Harvest at Bowhill House

21st September, 2016

Bowhill House and Country Estate is set to celebrate the season in style as it prepares to host the annual Harvest Festival taking place this weekend (11am – 4pm Sunday 25th September).
With a forestry and farming theme for 2016, the Estate will be a hive of activity with wood turning demonstrations, face painting and an array of harvest themed games for all visitors to enjoy. Families can also explore the grounds of the Estate by trailer on a Bowhill farm tour.
Sarah Peat, Customer Services Manager at Bowhill House and Country Estate said: “September is always a beautiful time of year here at Bowhill so we are really looking forward to celebrating our Harvest Festival with all of our visitors.
“Our trailer farm tour will be a great activity for all the family to enjoy and will give a glimpse of the Estate you may not have seen before so it’s a brilliant opportunity to come down and enjoy all that Bowhill has to offer.”
Admission to The Harvest Festival is included in the Estate entry fee of £4.50 per adult and £3.50 for concessions, with under-threes going free. Family tickets for two adults and two children are available for £14.00. The trailer farm tour has an additional charge of £1 per person.
