Bowhill & Abbotsford

Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott, reopened this year after a multi-million pound refurbishment. Bowhill and Abbotsford are naturally linked and this year we operated a successful joint ticket, whereby visitors could see both houses at a reduced cost.

Our partnership with Abbotsford continues as we plan a Clan Scott Gathering across both properties in June 2014, just before the government supported Bannockburn event which aims to encourage people to visit Scotland as part of their Scotland Welcomes the World campaign.
