Still time to hop along to Bowhill’s Hot Cross Bun Fun Run

A popular series of fun runs set in the picturesque grounds of Bowhill House and Country Estate is set to kick off for 2018.

The Hot Cross Bun Fun Run is set to take place on 14^th April with 5km and one mile routes, meaning the entire family can take part.

Sarah Richardson, Visitor Services and Marketing Manager, said: “It’s not too late to sign up to our Easter themed fun run.

“It’s going to be a fantastic day with participants encouraged to dress in Easter attire.

“Make sure you visit the Border Events website to sign up.”

The fun run is the last in a series of events which have taken place at Bowhill during the Easter holidays. The events included a family fun day on Easter Sunday which featured a host of activities including Easter trails, House tours, archery taster sessions, a 24ft climbing wall and face painting.

The Hot Cross Bun Fun Run takes place at 11am on Saturday 14^th April. Tickets for the 5km run are £7.50 for adults and £6.50 for children if booked in advance. Tickets purchased on the day are £10 for adults and children.
