Land Rover tours in the beautiful Scottish Borders
Enjoy Bowhill Estate’s beautiful landscape from the comfort (and cover!) of a Land Rover.
You’ll be picked up from the front of Bowhill House by one of our expert Rangers who will drive you through the stunning designed landscape surrounding the House. They’ll take you up through the remains of the Ancient Ettrick Valley Forest which leads out to spectacular views of the Scottish Borders landscape. There are plenty of opportunities for photos before driving on to the ruins of the fifteenth century Newark Tower, the former Douglas Stronghold.
Dates and times: Available Monday-Saturday from June – August and Monday to Friday for the rest of the year. Please book 24 hours in advance to ensure availability by calling 01750 22204 or email info@bowhillhouse.co.uk. Tours are one hour.
Prices: £70 for 2 people. Additional people charged at £30 for adults and £20 for children.
Maximum of 6 people.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and it is the parent/guardians responsibility to provide the correct car seat if required.
Premium Land Rover tour
Join us for a luxury tour on Sundays throughout the open season (June – August) and Monday – Friday during the rest of the year. Driven by one of our Rangers you will be shown the impressive designed landscape around Bowhill House and the woodland of Pernassie hill. Exploring further you will be taken onto the Grouse Moor where we will stop for lunch provided by our own tearoom. You will also have the chance to try some Scott Whisky before moving on to see more of Bowhill’s spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife.
Dates and times: Available every Sunday throughout the open season (June – August) and Monday – Friday during the rest of the year, starting at 11.30am.

Prices: £100 for up to 2 people. Additional people at £45 each. Maximum of 6 people per tour.
All tours start and finish at Bowhill House, but if you get in touch, we can arrange pick-up from the local area.
