Golden opportunity to have a laugh at Bowhill

16th April, 2015

Bowhill’s next theatre show promises to be full of laughs when Peter Gill takes to the stage with his show ‘The Golden Age of Musical Satire’.

The one-man-and-his-piano show features some of the funniest songs of the past century in an impressive 90-minute performance.

The audience can expect to hear favourites including Monty Python’s  ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’, Allan Sherman’s ‘Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh’, Tom Lehrer’s ‘Poisoning Pigeons in the Park’ and many more.

The performance promises to appeal to “anyone with a sense of humour – whether they are hearing the songs for the first time or the hundredth time”.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed evening of music and laughs cost £12 for adults and £10 for under-16s.  An optional pre-theatre supper is served at 6.30pm and costs an additional £13.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 01750 22204 or by visiting the Border Events website: http://www.borderevents.com/boxoffice.  Pre-booking is essential.
